LaRoche Petroleum Consultants, Ltd. has conducted technical studies and economic evaluations for private and public oil and gas companies, government agencies, and financial institutions throughout the world for over 30 years. We are petroleum engineers, geologists, geophysicists, and technical support staff with a history of customer service and excellence.
We function as a team to serve our client’s specific needs and provide the experience and expertise required for complex evaluations. The average experience level of our staff exceeds 35 years with major and independent oil company backgrounds. We use this diverse experience, melded with solid technical skills, to deliver a quality product to our clients in a timely and cost efficient manner.
William E. LaRoche founded LaRoche & Associates in 1979 after 20 years with DeGolyer and MacNaughton as a Senior Vice President and Director. LaRoche Petroleum Consultants, Ltd. was formed in 1996 when William M. Kazmann joined Mr. LaRoche. LPC is now one of the premier petroleum consulting firms in the country and has partners with experience in both major oil companies and small independent companies.
LPC understands the critical role independent reserve reports play and has the skills and judgment necessary to perform fair and reliable reserve analyses. The diversity of our staff provides the experience and technical ability to perform reserve and integrated engineering and geologic studies.
According to client preference, we use ARIES, MERAK, OGRE, or PHDWin for reserve and economic analysis and PETRA and GeoGraphix software for mapping. Geophysical analysis is provided in our office on SMT (Kingdom) and SeisVision workstations and also offsite using Landmark and GeoQuest software.
LPC has extensive experience in merger and acquisition evaluations, field studies, and reserve reports, both domestically and internationally. We are experienced in evaluation of non-conventional reservoirs, particularly shales and coalbed methane.
Our merger and acquisition experience is not limited to the evaluation phase. During the post acquisition, or transition phase, we often work with clients to rapidly target upside potential as well as assist in the identification and subsequent divestiture of non-strategic assets thereby helping integrate the new properties into their system quickly with a minimum of added internal overhead.
Our technical staff has significant reserve analysis experience in all of the U.S. producing basins. Our staff works on an independent basis or, if requested, as an extension of your staff in a team environment.
