Partners and Staff Founder William E. LaRoche founded LaRoche & Associates in 1979. Previously he was Senior Vice President and a board member of DeGolyer and MacNaughton from 1959 through 1978. Mr. LaRoche began his career with Tidewater (Getty Oil Company) in 1948 and became Mid-Continent District Engineer in 1956. He has over 55 years of experience in evaluation and estimation of reserves. Mr. LaRoche graduated from Texas A&M with a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering. Registered Professional Engineer - Texas. Partners William M. Kazmann, President, joined LaRoche Petroleum Consultants, Ltd. in 1996 after serving as acquisition manager for Eagle Oil & Gas Company. Prior to Eagle, he founded and managed for 12 years his own exploration and production company, which specialized in acquisitions, divestitures, and prospect evaluations. Since beginning his career in 1974, Mr. Kazmann has worked for both large and small independent oil companies giving him a balanced perspective on the industry. He has extensive petrophysical, geological and engineering expertise and is a member of AAPG, SPE, and SIPES. Mr. Kazmann graduated with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Kazmann is the former Dallas Chapter chairman and member of the National Board of Directors of SIPES and is a Registered Professional Engineer - Texas. Joe
A. Young, Vice President, joined LaRoche Petroleum Consultants, Ltd. in 2000
after managing his own exploration and development company, which he founded in
1994. Mr. Young began his career in 1982 with Mesa Petroleum as a reservoir engineer,
and subsequently worked for an independent oil company, where he became an Executive
Vice President prior to starting his own firm. Mr. Young graduated with a B.S.
in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and a M.B.A. degree from
West Texas A&M University. Registered Professional Engineer - Texas. Stephen
W. Daniel, Vice President, joined LaRoche Petroleum Consultants, Ltd. in 2000
after working as an independent consulting engineer. Since beginning his career
in 1969 as a Reservoir Engineer for Mobil Oil Corporation, he has held engineering
and management positions in several independent companies. He has experience evaluating
oil and gas properties in the major U.S. producing basins and in South America.
Mr. Daniel graduated with a B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University

K. Baggs, Manager of Engineering Applications, joined LaRoche Petroleum
Consultants, Ltd in 1998 after working as a Reservoir Engineer for Devon Energy.
Mr. Baggs began his career in 1978 with Kerr-McGee Corporation, and subsequently
worked for DPC & A, Pennzoil Energy, Grace Petroleum, and as an independent
consulting engineer. He has over 20 years experience in the petroleum industry
with extensive knowledge of computers and engineering applications for use in
evaluating oil and gas properties. Mr. Baggs graduated with a B.S. degree in Mining
Engineering from the University of Utah at Salt Lake City. Margaret E. Tibbetts, Manager of Technical Services, joined LaRoche Petroleum Consultants, Ltd in 1998 after previous employment with William M. Cobb & Associates, Inc. Since beginning her career in 1974 with McCord-Lewis Energy Services, she has worked in various engineering and accounting capacities for both small and large independent oil companies including the Reserves Manager for Bridge Oil (USA) Inc. Ms. Tibbetts' experience includes economics, database applications, and government compliance. She is active in the Society of Petroleum Engineers and is the past Chairman of the Dallas Chapter of SPE. Staff Edward
C. Marhanka, Senior Staff Petroleum Engineer, joined
LaRoche Petroleum Consultants in 2006 after working with both large and small
independent oil & gas companies and banking institutions - most recently as
Senior Petroleum Engineer for Texas Capital Bank. He has over 30 years of diversified
industry experience with a major emphasis in reservoir evaluation, asset management
and acquisition & divestiture experience in many of the major producing areas
of the U.S. Mr. Marhanka spent over 14 years with Toreador Resources Corporation
in various capacities; last serving as Vice President-Engineering U.S. Operations.
Mr. Marhanka is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. degree in
Petroleum Engineering and is a member of SPE, SIPES and ADAM. Al
C. Iakovakis, Senior Staff Petroleum Engineer, joined
LaRoche Petroleum Consultants in July 2006. Al has over thirty years of experience
with independent and major oil and gas companies. His areas of expertise include
reservoir engineering, economic analysis and property acquisition and divestiture
throughout most of the producing areas in the United States. Mr. Iakovakis spent
ten years with independent firms and twenty years with Gulf Oil Corporation and
Chevron Corporation, last serving as a Reservoir Engineering Manager. He is a
1979 graduate of the University of Houston with a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering
and a holder of a U.S. Patent in NGL Plant Design. Peter R. Laudon, Staff Petroleum Engineer. Joined LaRoche Petroleum Consultants in 2005 after prior experience as a both an engineer and geologist with a variety companies. He has over 12 years of experience with prior employment by Halliburton Energy Services, Phillips Petroleum, Landmark Graphics Corporation, and most recently Chevron Energy Technology Company. Mr. Laudon has a BS in Geology from the University of Kansas, a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla, and an M.S. in Geology from the University of Missouri-Rolla. He is a Registered Geoscientist-Texas and a member of SPE, SPWLA, and AAPG.
